Sherman Parker—Corporate Executive, Years Earlier Key in Desegregation

 

How Did He Survive, How He Continued to Rise

One of two African-American students in the 1960’s selected to desegregate the King George County School system in Virginia. Parker endured that experience, continued his education, obtained a job at a Fortune 500 company, and became an executive for the Xerox Corporation.
