Kathryn Koob—World Interests Led to International Service, a Test of Survival and Back Home

 

Now A Retired College Professor, Kathryn Koob Earlier Served as a U. S. Foreign Service Officer in Several Embassies throughout the World, including in Iran, where she was held captive for 444 days.  Not wanting to dwell on the past, but preferring to encourage others, Ms. Koob’s overall message is, “We all have our traumas. The question we must answer is, ‘How do we survive, move on and help others to learn from our experiences."
